Poor Things

This is the story of a woman who endures the abuses of an abusive husband in a highly hypocritical Victorian era, leading her to suicide.

However, her story does not end there. A scientist revives her, in a Frankenstein-like manner, but this time with the brain of a newborn. From this point onward, we witness the incredible, provocative, and hilarious life of Bella Baxter.

Her evolution and overwhelming journey through human desires and emotions will leave a mark on us as viewers. Though extravagance and the visceral may be evident, it is undoubtedly a transgressive and challenging perspective for both the senses and the mind.

Despite being an absurd fantasy, this story questions how we define ourselves and how that “Educated Society” defines us.

This film, with its remarkable cinematography and the masterful performance of Emma Stone, makes it a premiere you cannot miss.
